FAQ

Buying questions

Delivery time, countries, originals and prints, care, holds, withdrawal and copyright — short answers for artistikath.de.

How long is delivery?

Shipping usually within 14 days of payment (at the latest within 30 days). My print partner makes and ships prints — often in a separate parcel.

Is shipping included in the price?

Yes. The euro price on the work is the total price to me. Checkout has no separate shipping line.

Where do I ship?

To DE, AT, CH, NL, BE, FR, LU, IT, ES, PT, IE, DK, SE, FI, PL, CZ, GB and the US. For Switzerland, the UK and the US, import VAT, customs duties and handling charges may apply. These are not included in the price.

Original or print — what is the difference?

An original is a one-of-a-kind piece with a certificate of authenticity. A print is a reproduction in the listed size — not unique, and therefore less expensive than the original.

How do I care for an original?

Every few months, dust gently with a soft cloth or brush — no pressure. No water or harsh cleaners. No direct, intense sunlight. Keep the room as even as you can; do not hang it over a heater, a fireplace, or in a damp room.

What does “reserve the original” mean?

When you put an original in the cart, I hold it for you with no obligation — about 30 minutes. That is not a purchase yet. After that the work is free for others again.

Can I withdraw from the purchase?

Yes — 14 days for originals and prints. Use “Withdraw from contract” on the withdrawal page, or a letter or email. Details are in the withdrawal policy and in the confirmation mail after purchase.

Do I get the copyright?

No. You buy the physical piece, not the copyright. Displaying the work you bought at home is of course fine.

Other size or commission?

Other print sizes and custom requests — use the contact form, ideally with the work link from the gallery.
